On September 18, Homecoming, our Georgetown Lady Eagles kicked off the first of four special Fridays spent welcoming elementary students to school!
Today, the girls visited Frost Elementary and McCoy Elementary, opening car doors and greeting students as they arrived for the day. The huge smiles on the kids’ faces were matched by even bigger smiles from our Lady Eagles!
There’s something pretty special about starting the day with high-fives, happy faces, and a little Eagle spirit! It definitely made for a great Friday for everyone involved.
Senior Captain Maddy Villarreal said, “iIt seems like yesterday we were loving having the older basketball players opening car doors for us. I looked up to those players. Now we love getting the opportunity to pour into the younger Eagles in our community and can’t wait for the next Friday!”
