Dominic Davila
Junior Varsity and Varsity Assistant

Dominic Davila joined the Georgetown High School staff in 2025, where he serves as an assistant coach for girls’ basketball and golf while also teaching Business, Entrepreneurship, and Business Communication and Technology.

A 2025 graduate of Southwestern University, Davila earned a Bachelor of Science in Education and Kinesiology. While at Southwestern, he was a dual-sport athlete, competing in football (2021–2024) and track (2023–2025). Beyond athletics, he was highly involved in campus life, serving as a Resident Assistant (2022–2024), Area Coordinator Assistant (2024–2025), and Intramural Supervisor (2022–2024). He was also a proud member of Kappa Delta Pi, the international honor society in education.

As a standout high school athlete, Davila lettered in football, basketball, and track. In football, he was a four-year letterman, earning 2nd Team All-District honors as a sophomore and junior before being named 1st Team All-District Tight End as a senior. He also earned Academic All-District honors three times. In track, he was a regional qualifier in shot put. On the basketball court, Davila played varsity for three years, collecting numerous accolades, including:

1st Team All-District, Academic All-District, and Newcomer of the Year as a sophomore; Offensive MVP, TABC All-Region, 1,000-point milestone, and Devine Warhorses Tournament MVP as a junior; All-District Offensive MVP, THSCA Academic All-State, Academic All-District, and San Antonio Express-News Player of the Week as a senior. In 2021, he was honored with the Barbara Harvey Athletic Award, recognizing outstanding character and support of fellow athletes.

Now at Georgetown High School, Davila brings his experience as a multi-sport athlete and student leader into his teaching and coaching roles, with a focus on developing student-athletes who excel in competition—on the court, on the course, and in the classroom.
